Aaron Marino of alpha m. dispels some misconceptions and misinformation with a discussion and adjustment from his chiropractor, Dr. Kurt. Aaron has been going to a chiropractor since he was a little kid. He explains about the importance of a proper alignment, and how some people are not quite sure about chiropractors.
Dr. Kurt talks about the general principle of chiropractic medicine as well as chronic pain, headaches, and tension. Adjustments are not painful. Dr. Kurt equates an adjustment to popping knuckles. Radiating pain, numbness, and loss of reflexes are a reason for x-rays during a chiropractic visit. Sometimes only a few treatments are necessary.
Dr. Kurt also stresses that what you do at home is important, such as exercising, specific strengthening, and eating well. Aaron gets adjusted during the video and feels like taking a nap when it’s all said and done. He encourages those who are in pain or discomfort to make an appointment to see a chiropractor.
