Over-powering or over-applied men’s cologne can be just as offensive as bad body odor. Aaron Marino of alpha m. instructs how to effectively apply men’s cologne. Less is more and think subtle when applying.
Aaron typically sticks to the three-squirt-rule. The key is not to get right up on your skin. You want to mist over yourself and disperse over your entire body. Apply to the skin, not only on the clothes, so that the body heat keeps the cologne smelling good. Hold the bottle about an arms length away and spray three pumps. You can also try to spray in the air and walk through it. You may want to reapply if you are going out for the evening.
