Have you ever heard that someone is *born* to do something? Alpha likes to think that he’s born to talk about men’s style and fashion.
Aaron Marino of alpha m. shares the story about his first day of kindergarten in his Underoos. His mother allowed Alpha to be Alpha and express himself. He also talks about his first self-hair cut at 7 years old. He started giving hair cuts to the neighborhood kids.
In high school, Alpha’s family didn’t have a lot of money. He never paid full price for clothing. Instead, he used thrift stores. Even so, he was voted ‘Best Dressed.” At West Virginia, he helped to pay for his schooling by cutting hair (15 -20 hair cuts per week at $5 per).
Out of college, he opens a nutrition store then a gym and fitness center. While he was with the gym and fitness center, he met the Vanilla Gorilla, Steve from The Weather Channel. Steve wanted some advice about what to wear on a date. Alpha hooks him up with an outfit, hair cut, and facial grooming.
From this, Alpha grew as a personal shopper and image consultant while selling out of the gym and fitness center business. The rest is history.
