Some men wear watches all the time but others like the idea of a men’s watch but don’t wear them often. Some men are interested in getting a watch but don’t know where to start (size, style, brand). Aaron Marino of alpha m. offers three tips when picking out a new time-piece.
First, the shape of the man’s watch is a personal preference. Next, the size of the watch is a consideration. Over-sized watches are increasingly popular but small boned men should steer away from an over-sized watch. Older styles are very small, and men should steer away from these as well. Bottom-line, make sure the size of the watch is complimentary to your wrist size. Versatility is the last consideration. If you mainly wear casual outfits, don’t buy a dressy watch. Reciprocally, if you are predominately in a business suit, you don’t want to purchase a casual watch. Many stylish brands are available for under $100.
