Glen plaid is a pattern on a shirt, scarf, suit, hat, jacket, or pretty much anything you can wear. It is the *love child* of windowpane and houndstooth. It's a pattern with a lot going on with woven checks and a grid pattern.
The plaid pattern is composed of muted colors or of black or gray and white, especially one in which two dark and two light stripes alternate with four dark and four light stripes, both vertically and horizontally, forming a crossing pattern of irregular checks. It's timeless and stylish with a recent resurgence.
