Aaron Marino of alpha m. covers speaking etiquette 101 for being a gentleman. You may look and act like a gentlemen, but if something comes out of your mouth that is unbefitting of a gentleman, you have totally screwed the pooch. Here are tips for how to speak like gentlemen:
- Say ‘please’ whenever asking for anything
- Say ‘thank you’ whenever you receive anything
- Do not use profanity on a regular basis
- Never talk down to anybody
- Does not gossip about others
- Speak in a positive manner
- Doesn’t say anything hateful about anyone! Whether sexist, racist, homophobic, bigoted, it’s disgusting!
- Wait to speak and do not interrupt
- Know when to shut up
