Being Nervous | Reducing Nervousness

Subscribe to Alpha M. on YouTube
Alpha recently released a video about being nervous about public speaking. One of the hardest parts about speaking or performing in front of an audience is just before the presentation. Physiological changes happen too, such as dry mouth. Aaron Marino of alpha m. asks Papa Alpha what makes him nervous.

His response is 'doing videos with you' and then proceeds to talk about how nervousness left him at a certain age. What made him nervous previously was fear of embarrassment, looking foolish, and caring about what people thought. The ability to not worry about what other people think of us comes with maturity and confidence.

Does Papa Alpha put himself into positions to be nervous? Stand-up comedy was a nightmare! He suggests not drinking a six-pack before going on-stage. The results were horrible. A suggestion to reduce nervousness is practice. Alpha adds to add visualization.
