Rosacea Triggers Survey
Rosacea is a skin condition that occurs with flare-ups and causes the skin on the tip of the nose, cheeks, forehead, and chin to become red. If left untreated, it can be persistent and pronounced with the skin becoming ruddy and uneven with extra tissue and swelling with severe cases. Rosacea becomes noticeable typically in the 30s, and light skinned are more apt to experience symptoms.
Aaron Marino of alpha m. states that although a cure is not technically available, the signs and symptoms can be reversed and slowed. Flushing is the first sign of rosacea. Rosacea is triggered; therefore, identify the reason or cause of the flare-up. Once diagnosed:
- Treatments are oral and topical.
- Lasers are doing amazing treatments for advanced cases of rosacea.
- When you have rosacea, you don’t want to aggravate or irritate your skin. It’s all about mild- no scrubbing and only pat dry.
The first step for managing rosacea is going to a dermatologist or professional. Rosacea sucks but there are treatment options available.
