Aaron Marino of alpha m. has a negative experience at a waxing chain. He gets his nose waxed at a non-chain location, but last week he went with his friend to a a chain. He went to the European Wax Center (chain). He signed waivers and answered all of their questions about waxing experiences.
Aaron typically is in-and-out in 3-mintues. This place is taking up to 20-minutes, which they explained that they have to let the wax set. Once Aaron went in, they used a black wax on a big stick. The wax gets all over his mustache, and she ends up getting oil to remove it. She rips the skin out of his nostril. Blood pours out of Aaron’s nose, and he leaves without getting the 2nd nostril waxed.
The morale of the story is that you need to know where you are going. His normal waxing place explained that the chain’s staff is not truly trained. If you are going to have anything waxed, go to a reputable place.
