In this video men’s style, grooming, fitness and lifestyle expert, Aaron Marino of IAmAlphaM, AaronMarino, and Pete & Pedro is with Antonio Centeno who is visiting Atlanta, GA for a week. During this video, Alpha talks about how he met Antonio.
When IAmAlphaM launched as a membership site around 2009, Alpha was searching for foundation content and stumbled upon Antonio’s articles. Alpha asked permission to use some of the articles on the IAmAlphaM site. Antonio said no, and they didn’t talk again for quite some time.
Later, Antonio asks for Alpha to meet at VidCon 2014 and have a meet up. Alpha was taken back by his niceness — he thought that Antonio had an ulterior motive so Alpha stayed protective. He viewed competition as ‘bad’ and felt he needed to crush it. He ended up going to VidCon anyway and found out that competition doesn’t mean ‘bad’. If Antonio hadn’t been the bigger man, Alpha wouldn’t have this man as a best friend.
Antonio is an amazing person, solid guy, and one of the best people that Alpha knows. Antonio is one of Alpha’s core group of guys as they are friends as well as StyleCon and MENfluential business partners. Alpha says that sometimes you’ll be surprised if you put yourself out there and take risks — the outcome & benefit is unbelievable. Life is about relationships, and Alpha values his friendship so much. These relationships make his life so full.
