The reality is that we live in a selfie society — and not every selfie is created equal. In this video men’s style, grooming, fitness and lifestyle expert, Aaron Marino of IAmAlphaM, AaronMarino, and Pete & Pedro is going over 10 selfie don’ts!
- Shirtless selfie – screams douche-bag
- Dick pix – you never know where it will end up
- Trying to look ‘super sexy’
- Taking a picture from below – take from elevated position instead
- Never smiling – you will look like a toolbox
- Bad lighting – direct sunlight but not necessary overhead
- Doing anything with your lips that is unnatural – licking, biting, pouting, puckering (ridiculous!)
- Never looking at the camera
- Not checking yourself out in a mirror prior to taking a selfie
- Posting too many selfies – the more you post the more you are perceived as (a) an ego-maniac or (b) super insecure needing acceptance, approval, & attention
