Gillette Fusion Proglide Power Men’s Razor With Flexball Handle Technology With 1 Razor Blade
Gillette, the same people who brought you the Mach3, created more razor variations- ahem, gimmicks. Alpha has a pet-peeve with these razor companies adding gimmicks just to sell more. Alpha would be impressed with a razor that will LAST.
First, Aaron Marino of alpha m. discusses the Fusion with 5 blades (actually 6). Later, a battery was added to the Fusion that turned the razor into vibrating tool. When you shave, the vibrations are supposed to get your hairs to stand up. Does it work? Seriously!?!? It’s just another gimmick. But wait there’s a new gimmick.
The newest Gillette is the Fusion Proglide with Flexball Technology. He got a sneak-peek from Gillette even though he didn’t want it. They sent him the razor in a pelican case. It also came with a manual why there is such a need for a roller ball.
He reads from the manual, which contains the *inspiration* behind this razor. He dismisses the manual, saying it’s crap, and goes straight to testing the product. It shaves but he can’t get up in his mustache because it’s HUGE. He can’t experience the technology because you “don’t do that with your face, you don’t do that with your razor” as you will “cut the crap out of yourself.” Alpha doesn’t care if the razor has a pivoting head or not.
Alpha doesn’t like the Fusion and thinks the roller ball technology is a total crock of crap simply trying to sell you another razor. You can pre-order, which the razor runs around $15. Replacement cartridges are 8 for $30.
If you want to impress Alpha, create a razor that lasts. If you want to make your razor last longer, dry your razor after each use.
