First, a viewer got a suit at a thrift store and loves the jacket; however, he wants to know if a tailor can alter the pants to flat front from pleated.
Aaron responds that ‘yes’ a tailor can change pleated pants into flat front pants, but sometimes the pants don’t look the same as off-the-rack. The cost is a bit more as well since he has to take apart the pants. If the pants are worth it and part of a suit, the $2 to $30 alterations are worth it.
Second, a viewer asks a question about a girl’s image as a hippie chick: not doing her hair, wearing funky moccasins, and having a nose ring.
The viewer’s image is important to him, and she doesn’t seem nicely put together. Should he disqualify her because of her hippie image? Aaron said that if you meet someone and they are not up to your standards, they are not going to change. And it’s unfair to ask someone to change. If they do change for you, they’ll end up resenting you. In regard to image, it’s your brand and your calling card. This girl is telling you that she’s a tree hugging, free to be you and me, and Earth loving hippie. You will be more manscaped than she is. So, it’s not wrong to disqualify someone to date. If you started to date this girl, the novelty will wear out; however, if you have your walls up, you may be missing out on really great people and love.
