Importance of a Good Night's Sleep

Everyone from time to time has a crappy night of sleep, and you feel horrible the next day. Three dangerous things can happen from an extended period of sleep deprivation.

  1. One is weight gain from consuming extra calories and decreasing regulation of fat storage.
  2. Another thing that is a bi-product of sleep deprivation is depression.
  3. The other aspect to sleep deprivation is risk of heart attack which increases by 27 – 45%. Sleeping is time for your body to relax and heal itself. If you aren’t sleeping, your body is taxed.
