Alpha’s dusting off his binoculars to do some bird watching with some people he’s never met. Aaron Marino of alpha discusses ways to meet and make new friends. He referred to www.meetup.com that allows you to get in contact with people that you normally wouldn’t encounter.
The whole reason he has been thinking about this topic is from a viewer email. The viewer is in college, smart, and a leader. He’s having a difficult time connecting with people. Friends are difficult to develop and cultivate until acquaintances. If you want to expand your network, extend yourself outside of your comfort zone and try something you normally wouldn’t try. You can develop some new friendships. Focus on family, health, and schoolwork… friends will happen but you have to put yourself out there.
