Nothing is better than a great pair of jeans- simple, stylish, and rugged. Jeans rock! They are versatile- rugged can be turned into refined with some strategic options.
Stylish Ways to Dress Up Your Jeans
Select the jeans you’re going to be dressing up. Note that beat-up jeans with whiskering are harder to dress up than dark wash jeans. The darker the wash, the better the look. Butt bling and fancy pocket stuff are not advised. Pair the jeans with your favorite dress shoe and then combine with matching belt. From there, add pieces:
- Fitted Button Up Shirt – You can untuck your shirt but make sure it’s the proper length so you don’t look like you’re wearing a dress. Dress shirts are designed to be tucked in; casual shirts are made to be worn left out.
- Layering – Pair with vest or waist coat. Take it up a notch with a tie. You can also go with a sweater vest.
- The V Neck Sweater – you don’t have to wear a tie by going casual without the tie.
- Sport Coat – combine everything all together
- Jacket with Shirt – casual, cool, not so uptight
