Aaron Marino of alpha m. gives the run-down about daily consumption of carbs, fats, and protein percentages.
A viewer, Kole, is consuming 50% protein, 30% carbs, and 20% fat over 2,000 calories. What that means is that he is getting 250 grams of protein and is essentially eating a low carb diet.

Aaron’s percentages are as follows: 30% protein, 50% carb, and 20% fat. He takes about 1 g of protein per body pound. The carbs that he consumes are low glycemic index: sweet potatoes, whole grains, brown rice, wheat berries, quinoa, barley.

Low carb diets are not that great for you because they are not great for your mind. The body will lose weight but your mind becomes crazy forgetful. Your body needs carbs to function properly. Eat BETTER carbs and stay high around 50% and not get sugar spikes.
