They’re back! Aaron Marino of alpha m. and Papa Alpha tell a story about mistaken identity… well, perhaps it wasn’t a case of mistaken identity! The whole scenario would have been avoided with a conversation starter.
So, Alpha talks to Papa Alpha about starting conversations. A lot is about openness and willingness to engage. Body language is also a key. A smile is your #1 body language ‘best bet’. Papa Alpha also added that taking off sunglasses creates a connection rather than a wall.
Then they try to test the conversation starters… on someone who doesn’t speak English. Epic fail! Next up is Dylan. He states that he would talk about the weather or the scenery. Another great idea is to use the environment to dictate a question. Alpha demonstrates the give-and-take conversation. The more you practice, the better you get!
