Chest Workout | Five Exercises to Build Massive Pecs

After you break down the tissue, protein repairs the damaged tissue so that it’s bigger and stronger. If this isn’t happening for you, you may not actually be tearing down the muscle fiber. Change up your workouts so that your body hasn’t adapted. Shock your muscle! You also may not be able to see results because you are not getting enough proper nutrients for your body to rebuild. A third reason is over-training. Once a week, do a body part then let that body part rest.

Alpha’s Staple Chest Exercises

  1. Dumbbell Flies
  2. Standing Cable Flies
  3. Dips
  4. Pec Deck
  5. Push Ups

 

He rotates those exercises in his chest workouts. He typically does 4 sets ranging from 8 – 12 each. He doesn’t do bench press or incline / decline bench press. He *may* use them in a superset, however. Dumbbell flies into bench press as a superset is recommended. The exercises that cause you to stretch causes you to tear which causes a bigger muscle. It’s not how strong you are; it’s how strong you look!
