Aaron Marino of alpha m. talks about we are our own worst critics. A viewer is concerned about the size of his small neck. Alpha gets a picture of the ‘small neck’ and says that his neck is not ‘skinny’ or ‘thin’.
Aaron did notice the fit of the sweater being big and bulky. He suggested tailored sweaters and a different cut. Aaron also suggested to add some interesting frames since the current ones are boring and blend in. The interesting frames would enhance his image and style.
Aaron talks about his own ears and says they were a source of anxiety. He was self conscious of his ears and considered having them pinned back. Aaron doesn’t pay that much attention to them now that he’s older and more mature.
Aaron concludes that we are so incredibly hard on ourselves taking a non-issue and blowing it up into a huge issue. We are all different with unique aspects about our personalities and looks. Work on your confidence and then you won’t pay attention to the attribute that you are concerned about. You will realize that the attribute adds character. Try not to be hard on yourself because you are beautiful, perfect, and made just right.
