Not being scared of color and making a statement is different than wearing something that makes you the center-of-attention for the wrong reasons. You turn from a guy that wants to be bold into one that looks like a complete ass. Evaluate the red suit from a financial and logical perspective as well.
If you buy a suit that is a bold statement, you will wear it once and then you’re pretty much dead in the water. Instead, invest in a really great tailored standard suit. You can wear it to multiple events, and you can jazz it up with accessories. Change the shirt, tie, socks, shoes, pocket squares, and more. If you want to experiment with bold colors, try it with a sport coat or a pair of red pants separately.
