Men's Accessories | How to Know If You Are Wearing Too Many

April 17, 2013
Do you find it difficult finding balance with accessories? Aaron Marino of alpha m. defines accessories as any item that you add, like jewelry.

Jewelry includes earrings, necklaces, wrist items (watches, bracelets, cuffs), ankle bracelets (not acceptable), toe rings (not acceptable), and nipple & belly button rings.

So, are you wearing too many? It comes down to the individual as well as your comfort level. Rules of thumb: 1 ring on each hand (thumb and index finger rings not acceptable), 1 necklace (keep pendant tucked inside shirt). The jewelry items should compliment each other: if you are wearing a dress watch with leather accessories, they won’t balance.
