Men’s image and style really took a nose-dive in the 1980s and 1990s. And even the men in the 1960s and 1970s who were put together, polished, and groomed looked ‘homeless’ compared to the guys in the 1920s.
The HBO show “Boardwalk Empire” has some outfits and clothing that are very impressive. Alpha displays some of the dapper style. Men took care of themselves and took pride in their outfits. Will we ever get back to that? Probably not, but men can take some tips from the men of the 1920s and 1930s.
